Several custom fields with the same title

Hello i am using Joomla 2.5.18 and VM 2.0.26d.
I have custom field "type" that is common to many categories of products.
I sell all sort of publicity equipment, each of their categories having a group of fields.
I want "type" to be part of all this groups of fields, but everytime I add it in another group, virtuemart adds a random number after its name: ex "type342283644".

I give example of 2 groups of fields:

specifications printer         specifications cutter
ink category                       lenght cuttable
printing heads                   power consumption
type                                   type


What should I do?
