[solved]PayPal refund Unknown Order Status VM2.0.26d

Since upgrading to 2.0.26d (from 2.0.24) ...

When I issue a refund (full or partial) from PayPal the order status is set back to Pending (not Refunded) ( having previously been Confirmed) and Status and Comment columns on order view become
Status: COM_VIRTUEMART_UNKNOWN_ORDER_STATUS
Comment: VMPAYMENT_PAYPAL_PAYMENT_STATUS_PARTIAL_REFUNDED

Shopper notified? is set to Yes but shopper does not receive an email.

i will check that

this one i know, i forgot to add it in the paypal language file. I have fixed this issue already

Recreating the payment method seems to have solved the COM_VIRTUEMART_UNKNOWN_ORDER_STATUS problem.
