Virtuemart sends no Mail to Admin/New Customer

Hello,
if a customer create a new order there is no Mail sent to customer and no mail to me. If I change the state from new to confirmed, all works fine, both mails were send. Only the first mail is not created.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong there?
Maybe this happens since the last update (to 2.0.24 from (as I remember) 2.0.20). The last correct mail is from september and I did the update in the beginning og october.

I have found the reason:
the new version of Virtuemart changes othe options for sending mails. In configuration select the 5. tab (in German "Kassen-Einstellungen" I think in english this is named checkout-settings).
In the previous version mails were sent for every status (I dont know if there was a list to choose some values or if it sends mails for all status-values without having an list to configure this feature). The new version has list to setup status-values for sending mails to customer and seller.
I included the status "new orders" to the two lists and all works fine.
