Powerfull Search engine in VM

Hi.
There is any module/component in VM2 that give us a powerfull feedback in the Virtuemart Products results?

For example you can add products (but they are all the same product but with differents sku's or names...)
(Product 1): Abacaxi FC 9003 (p. name); Sku: FC 9003
(Product 2): Abacaxi FC9003 (p. name); Sku: FC9003
(Product 3): Abacaxi FC-9003 (p. name); Sku: FC-9003
(Product 4): Abacaxi FC-9003/01 (p. name); Sku: FC-9003 /01
(Product 5): Abacaxi FC-9003.01 (p. name); Sku: FC-9003.01
(Product 6): Abacaxi FC 9003 (p. name); Sku: FC 9003/01
(Product 7): Abacaxi FC 9003/0.1 (p. name); Sku: FC 9003 /0.1
(Product 8 ): Abacaxi FC 9003.0-1 (p. name); Sku: FC 9003.0-1
(Product 9): Abacaxi FC900301 (p. name); Sku: FC900301
etc or could be done with more special characters..

Doing this (and it's normal to have this kind of situations if you got your website for some years and different stores that sell you the same product but give you a different sku) we will see that some times we cant find the product that we've got (in frontend or backend). Or we well check that we've got that product many times but written in different ways.

I think we need a powerfull search engine module and component, including working with the joomla statistics, that could give users "related words" or "Refine the search" giving a kind of feedback to user.. like the ebay.

So.. there is any good Search module/component on the way to solve this problem?

Nope, but you could talk developer about your task conditions.

why not develop this in baseline priority of VM?

For example if anyone got a product with a point "." in SKU name we never find that product name in product administration area.

For example, try this in your VM instalation (add this product name or product sku - just to test): ABC.111.234

Now, please, just try the VM search of product in admin: ABC.111.234

Results: 0

so... it's very boring / sad / unhelpful search engine ..
