Blank VirtueMart under components

Hi,

I hope someone can help me.  I'm using Joomla 1.5 and have done the installation for VirtueMart.  But in the Back end under components if I click on VirtueMart it is blank so I cannot load any items.

This is the error I am getting.

The VirtueMart version you are using is not compatible with Joomla 1.5 as it has ACL code designed for use with Joomla 2.5

Officially, support for Joomla 1.5 finished a year ago. http://virtuemart.net/news/list-all-news/426-end-of-life-for-virtuemart-11-heidelpay-now-in-virtuemart-2012

"We decided to declare now the end of life for VirtueMart 1.1, and that the version 2 of VirtueMart is not any longer maintaining joomla 1.5 compatibility." 4 October 2012

However, versions up to 2.0.20b do mostly work apart from the odd glitch.

As Joomla no longer support version1.5 in any case, it is better to use Joomla 2.5
