Dear Virtuemart,

We have found a bug with coupon usage. Here's the problem.

Say the product price is $5 and I need to have 20% off of $75.

When the order total is less than $75, the coupon will not work. It gives an error message which is fine. When the order total is more than $75, the coupon is being successfully applied. However, when coupon is applied and user changes the quantity to make the order less than $75, the coupon code stays instead of being removed.

Did someone have the issue? How can I fix it? Please help.

Joomla 2.5.11/VM 2.0.22a. I tried on VM 22c, but it is still an issue.

Imho you cannot checkout with the wrong coupon. So I consider this as a cosmetic thing. Anyway I enhanced it. Next version

I see. When you say next version, did you mean the version after 2.0.22c? Is there any way to manually apply the fix for now?

Thanks.

you can already download it. The e version http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

I will check it out, thank you.

One more question... I had identified a different bug earlier and had a post on it. Here's the bug: when user clicks on "Register and checkout" button first, it validate the data and identifies that username/password were not entered. So when user then clicks on "Checkout as Guest" it still asks for username/password instead of checking out as guest.

Here's the link to the post: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=117905.msg399041#msg399041

Do you know if that's fixed as well?

Thank you.
