Hello I've installed the dutch pack for virtuemart but for some reason it won't translate the modules... I still have at the shopping cart: You have no items in your shopping cart. I tried to check the language files but wasn't able to find it.. Can someone help me?:(

The string "You have no items in your shopping cart" is not part of the VirtueMart language files. Do you use a Shop template or a third party cart extension? And do you actually mean the cart view or a cart module which is published at some module position in your frontend?

Ye I'm using the template hawkstore. It's a module that is published on the front end

So you will have to search for this string in the files supplied by JoomlArt.  ;)

No, I don't use any of their templates. Personally I usually use the free Notepad++ editor to locate strings in the local copy of my website. It has a 'Search in files' feature, which you can restrict to search for example all  ini files (*.ini)  files or a all files in the folder holding the Joomla/VirtueMart code (*.*).

Of course you might also consider to ask in the JoomlaArt forum.
