SMTP Error! The following recipients failed:  SMTP server error: No such user here

Joomla 2.5.11
VM 2.0.20b

Installed VM on a clients working site.  www.goodpeoplerule.com

Server Send Mail Function works perfect for the contact us and other contact forms.

But.. The Vm send function fails when registering or trying to update the order status with the following error
SMTP Error! The following recipients failed: rod@oiuryd.com  SMTP server error: No such user here . no invoices are being sent  or new user notifications.

I spent a good hour on the phone with my host and they can't find an issue. I have searched high and low without finding any thing to help
I dont ask for help here.. Much..  this time I need it. I am at a lose..

Server mail setting are the the way my host says they have to be.

Mail Settings
       
    SMTP Authentication   YES
    SMTP Security NO   
    SMTP Port  25   
    SMTP Username   
    SMTP Password   
    SMTP Host  winmail01........net

Got this from my host..  I Removed names and replaced with .......

After looking into the server here are the records that came up on the server regarding the failed authentication from 5:38pm today :

Hi Hotrod,

I am having the same issue, did you find a fix?

Seems odd that SMTP settings have been confirmed by my host as correct and I have no problems with users registering on my site and receiving their activation emails.
