I am using VM  2.0.18a with Joomla 2.5.9.  When I go to a product and click on the custom fields tab, I see a box marked "related products".  There is a search box there to search for related products.  I put the name of a related product in that box but nothing happened.  I watched a video online that showed someone putting the name of a related product into that box and the result is a way to add the related product to the product page.  I see no way to do that.  Can you tell me where I am making a mistake?

Thanks

What 3rd party extensions are installed on your web site?

Here are the 3rd party extensions:

Sitelock badge, Unite Revolution Slider, captcha recaptcha, breezing forms, akeeba backup, jquery easy, awo coupon, csvi, easy order export, joomblog, quick xapp, wordbridge

I think that covers them all.  Of these, Unite Revilution slider has given me jquery library issues in the past.  I used a freelance coder to resolve some of those issues which included the inability to log out through the home page once logged in (log out in the cart worked fine), a number of non working buttons and links, very similar to what is occurring with add related products.

I hope this helps and thanks for your assistance.

How do you think maybe 'jquery easy' influence backend area of your web site? Any 3rd party extensions that could influence somehow unpredictable BE area in general could produce such issues like yours.
