My site was recently hacked and trying my best to get it back online and functioning correctly. So far so good, except for one thing. On my checkout page, the language strings are empty and showing the contants values instead of the actual values that should be showing.

Here is a link and you may need to add a product to see what is heppening.

Thanks in advance!

I have installed both the English UK version and the English USA version with no success. I have tried using overrides and they work, but then disappear.

Any ideas?

What is really weird is that when I go to create an override in the joomla language manager and search for the constant it is there so I save it and it works. So it is there but it is not loading by itself for some reason.

Here is a screenshot of what I am doing to get it to work.... http://screencast.com/t/ZnIf1ZYVPOIc

If the language file for the cart is not loaded - do you use a third party template, i.e. a 'one page checkout'? Maybe that template doesn't catch the cart language or loads its own (missing) cart language file. Concerning en-GB and en-US, you should use the en-GB. The U.S. version currently is not complete, because there is no american volunteer who updates/maintaines it.

You can also enable the Joomla Debug and Debug language features in Joomla Global Configuration, which might help to figure out what is going wrong.

Yes, I do have OnePage Checkout by LineLabs installed and their language file is installed as well. I will keep investigating and report back if I have figured out what is going on.

Thanks for the help!
