How to setup different weigh of Parent/Child products for calculate shipping fee

Can someone help me to setup different weigh of Parent/Child products for shipping fee?
I find out VM2.0.6 only use same weight of Parent to calculate the shipping fee.
But my Parent/Child product is use different weigh since the products have 10ml, 100ml, 1kgs, and 5kgs.

How did you setup your child product? I assume you use custom fields: did you use generic cart variant ? Or plugin?
In case of generic cart variant it should work, in case of plugin always the parent weight is being used

So for plugin I have the same problem.
