Prepaid coupon required for checkout

Hello VM Coders,

I have a small job to offer here. I am selling digital products (games) and I often sell prepaid vouchers locally and need the customer to be able to use the voucher on my site.

I created a payment option titled "Prepaid Coupon." With VM checkout when the customer chooses the Prepaid Coupon as their payment method, but does not enter a coupon code, they can still continue to check out.

For this payment option I need the coupon field to be mandatory. No coupon number entered in the coupon field then no checkout. They should see a message saying "Please enter your Prepaid Coupon to check out. "

I posted a question about how to do this on the VM2 forum general questions section but no one seems to be motivated to offer any suggestions. The post is titled "Prepaid coupon code required for checkout."

Is there anyone here in the commercial section that is willing to take on the project of making the coupon field mandatory for my payment option "Prepaid coupon"?

There was a post here about two years ago by member "PapaRich" offering a similar feature he coded at that time. His post is titled "Prepaid Ex-Factory." I sent a pm to him but no reply as yet.
