Hi friends...

My products are in Chilean pesos but paypal does not accept that currency.

My idea is to use two products prices (chilean peso and USD) and when the buyer selects to pay by paypal cart prices these dollars become. (without currency converter, I use a set price and dollar weight)

example:

1.-  product 1: price chilean peso=$500 (default price)   and   USD 1

2.- buyer select pay with paypal and the cart display the price in dollars

3.- go to paypal

How I can do?

thanks

sorry for my bad English ... ;)

Hello

This is done automatically with Virtuemart.
- Create your product and add the prices in Chilean pesos
- In the shop configuration , in  the List of accepted currencies parameter, add Dollars (USD)
- Create a paypal payment method, and for the parameter Payment Currency select Dollars

In the cart, the client will have both price displayed: the one in Chilean pesos, and the   Total in Payment Currency in USD.
The price in USD will be the price sent to Paypal

EAltea

and if the client want to pay in PayPal in another active currency in the site?
It's imposible. Because always in the PayPal we get the $, right?

When things become more complex, time of creating second one paypal payment method goes.
