[SOLVED] can't add categories

Hi, i'm new on virtuemart and i have a problem.

I'm creating a web site for selling stuff and now i can't create product categories in virtuemart backend,
when i hit the save button i got a message like this one :"Product Category successfully saved"
but in the backend there is no new categories.

i'm using joomla 2.5 and Vm 2.0.22

i got a plugin wich is listing all my categories and it seems they are created but invisible in the backend ...

the problem was the french language pack, i have created some categories in english and when i want to create another i need to put the backend in english again
