Multiple Child Products / Variants with 1 add to cart button

Hi

Is it possible to have Multiple Child Products / Variants with 1 add to cart button?

A layout similar to the attached image... So the buyer can fill in a quantity for each child product that click 'add to cart'.

Does anyone know - can this kind of layout only be done with child products?

there are 350 products and each product has up to 35 variants.

For example - a 1kg packet of bath salts, then it comes in 35 different fragrances.

people should be able to easily order for example:

5 packets rose bath salt
10 packets lemon bath salt
5 packets mustard bath salt

I've been looking at CSV improved, and it does look like it will take quite some time to import all the child products.

Custom fields/attributes do seem alot quick, but can those only display as a drop down box?

I'd appreciate any suggestions.
