Minimum value on order, but no error message

Hi! I want to have a minimum value on my site, which I now have. But when I'm in the cart-view and I don't reach the minimum value and click continue, the page just reloads instead of showing an error message. I don't even know if there should be an error message, but I wan't one.

How would I do this?
