JCE Plugin Installatoin failed

I have bought JCE Plugin , I am using the latest version of Joomla 2.5 (2.5.11.) and Virtuemart 2.0.20b . I tried to install this pluin and it gives me the following error

Unable to detect manifest file

Error installing COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_EXTENSION

Any ideas ?

Hello

You probably tried to install via the Joomla installer.
Install it via the JCE extension manager

Indeed, this plugin needs to be installed via the JCE Plugin manager.
