Hi! I have a site with VM 3.0.9.4 and Joomla 3.4.3.
When I add products to my cart and want to pay it via Paypal, the site does not redirect to Paypal, and the information that tells the costumer that he/she will be redirected is disappeared.
I only see my username and the log out button. I think this is the "Thank you" page.

In VM I have sett up Paypal correct, I think.

Regards
Ketil

The problem is solved.
I just copied the map cart to my template override, and then all work again :-)

Can you please explain a little more how you solved this problem? I have the exact same one...

GJC Web Design

He says he copied the components/com_virtuemart/views/tmpl/cart folder to his template/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/

This obviously upgrades the cart template to the latest version.. but you don't mention any versions or even if your using template over rides

Hello,

Thank you for your answer. I am using J3.4.4 and VM3.0.9.4.
The template is "Flatastic" from themeforest, and yes it has template overrides for Virtuemart.

I ll try to do what you said to see if it is fixed.

I first tried to upgrade to 3.0.9.8 but the full website broke down, as I received many errors after upgrading. I have contacted the template's developer for that, and then reverted to a working backup of 3.0.9.4.

EDIT:
I deleted all overrides of my template for cart folder, and it was not fixed.
Then I replaced the core 3.0.9.4 VM cart folder with the corresponding 3.0.9.6, but nothing changed again.
Any other ideas?
The domain is: http://www.secretlove.gr

EDIT2:
I also noticed that it no longer displays order details in the thank you page.

It all points to the template being incompatible with the latest VM releases..

To my way of thinking it is the duty of template builders offering commercial templates to keep their offerings up to date and compatible with all official releases.

If .. on a clean install of the latest VM release, this template doesn't work correctly, then you need to complain to the template builder...

I managed to fix it.

I just updated the Rupostel one page checkout, but I also had to change the checkout page theme, to one of Rupostel core themes.

I also found an other tread in here, where someone mentions that Flatastic and Reviver themes, use heavily modified VM files, and that they can not be updated through the original VM files. This answers my second question, and also sucks to know!
