No modules visible in backend

I just installed virtuemart 2.0.20b on J2.5.9 without errors, but when i want to add modules they are not showing up in the backend.... (and yes AIO is installed, also without errors, plugins are showing up)
I also had this problem with the virtuemart component itself, but this is solved by enabling the xmap plugin from virtuemart.

Anyone with a solution for me?

the module files are also saved, so it must be something with viewing rights...
