How do I add a dropdown box attribute, not showing

Hi . . .

I added a Custom Field Called 'Select a Color' and followed the instruction but I do not see a place to designate what type of button it is. It only shows up a text on the page and the colors are text too with no way of selecting them. Any ideas on how I can pull all these in to make them a drop down? It was easy in previous VM edition.
