Register account error ... "Please enter your name"

Hello,

When I register a new account, I get an error "Please enter your name." error even though I fill out first and last name.....

My shopper group settings are
1  -default- for all registered shoppers
2  -anonymous- (created automatically).

And the store is assigned as -anonymous-.

Do you know why am I getting this error?

I am using 2.0.6 VM and 2.5 Joomla. I also updated aio.

I have the same issue - using J 2.5.4 and VM 2.0.6.

i also don't understand how to get this nice layout of registration - http://extensions.virtuemart.net/my-account instead of mine - http://ainol-novo.cz/index.php/e-shop/user/login

I don't see how Milbo's link can be usefull to the error described 

I am also getting "Please enter your name" error on registration during checkout (Joomla 2.5.9 & VM 2.0.18a). I have found that this is happens when you don't enter Displayed Name which is required but there is no asterisk ("star" symbol) to indicate it... thus confusion...
