Saving problem of description products in non-default language

My problem is that until the VM installation with Italian default language, when I insert or change the description of a product in the English language and when I save ... the front end of the website appears regularly change, but in the administrative back end I get the description in Italian. The same problem occurs for the description of shipments and other. Could be a problem of DB misalignment?
What can I do to fix problem ?
