Disable VirtueMart Caching

I would like to disable all caches in VirtueMart. I have the System - Cache plugin disabled. Administrator > Site > Global Configuration > System tab > Cache Settings > Cache is OFF - Caching Disabled. Yet when I open Adminstrator > Site > Maintenance > Clear Cache, I see the _virtuemart Cache Group. How do I block the VirtueMart cache function?

This does not affect your joomla site or vm functionality, what's your issue?

My fatal out of memory error reappeared after I thought I had it fixed. Later I remembered to check the Joomla cache. That's when I found the VirtueMart entry there. Can you assure me that, especially during site development, I will never be served an old page?

Nope, this is exist to improve performance, is vm2 code not other cache system, will NOT serve an old page ...

sorry for hearing the your issue reappears - try also you site with other host ... if is working find, change host.

I'll assume for now that the bad old page was in my browser's cache and not the Joomla cache. Both are now cleared and the site is operating as expected.
