Assign Shopper Group at Registration on VM 2.0.10

We are using VM 2.0.10 on Joomla 2.5.6.

We have several shopper groups already created.
The price charged in the shopping cart  varies according to the shopper group.
How can we assign the shopper group to a new member through a registration form so that the administrator does not have to go back and assign it later?
Which PHP files process the registration procedure?

I also looks for a solutions to do this, and i think i can manage fix it, but first i need to find the file that control the registration form. Any ideas for this?
