Confirm Payment - no link

Hey guys. I posted this site earlier and none of the suggestions worked. What I ended up doing was dumping the entire store and rebuild. It seems to be working BUT, when I go to check out.....it sends me back to the product page and says confirm order. I have to physically click on the cart button or cart tab to go back to the invoice page and confirm the order to get to paypal. Why is it not going directly to paypal?
