Hopping understood what you ask saying raise ... you could use tax & calculation rules to increase your product prices, profit margin maybe x%?

the percentage increase is added to the total price when choosing metallic color, so I need this to happen in custom fields, solutions?

@Grisu  - If you are comfortable hacking VM2 code, there is an old VM 1.1.x percentage hack mentioned here you could use as a guide: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=62892.msg364642#msg364642

If you would rather have a 3rd party developer provided solution, we could enhance our Breezing Forms Custom Fields extension to handle this for you as a paid project. You would then be able to build your custom fields in a custom Breezing Form and apply a % calculation. 

We're also considering adding pricing overrides as well, where you can use "=" and the base price would be replaced by the price in the option, rather than calculated. But that will depend on client demand.
