How to delete the date from my product links

If I add a new product the date appear in the product link. And it is without affect if I go back in the administration and delete the date from the product link, the date appear again. Please, can help me somebody ?

it is because there is already an "alias" or "slug" with that name

Joomla system will not let 2 urls be the same.

If they are, it will append the date to it

Oh, yes many of my products have the same name. Thank you for the information.
