images lost after akeeba restore

hi there
there is something very strange happened here

i have made a backup of a site and then restor it with akeeba

when i load the site it doesn t load images

and  i saw something very strange.....the path of the images lost the slash (/)

so
a path like : images/stories/virtuemart/product/1.jpg
is

imagesstoriesvirtuemartproduct1.jpg

so what happened and how can i fix this

VM version, PHP version?

Can you please check under Configuration -> Templates, under Media Files Settings if the paths are right there?

Is it for all images or only VM images? What about .js files?

it is only for vm images

i ve tested the site here

www.harvester.gr/===test===/ice3

and it is working fine!

but when i restore it many times at www.rockaine.com the images dissappear....

yes the images are all in the corrext folder

i use the same server at both of the links i send you so i suppose it is not has to do with it....

it is really strange

it changes the path...

the path is changing without the (/) between folders

please any helpo please???

i found something strange too


the site is working under any folder ( ex try www.rockaine.com/a )i copied it there

but not at the root folder!!!

You have sef url enaled, please check your .htaccess file is everything is fine!
