manual shipping costs

Hi all,
im at loggerheads with virtuemart at the mo! im using the latest version 2.0.8e

I want the website to work differently than other online stores. We are basically using the website as a catalog only with all our pricing. The way we want it to work is as follows:
- Customer goes on the website
- Add products to cart
- They are not required to register an account but they have to fill in information like name contact number and delivery address and business name.
- Once information is filled out, they can send us a purchase order and we will process the order manually for them.

We then manually add shipping to the order, and send the customer a PRO FORMA invoice that includes information for bank deposits and credit card payments. They fill out the form and send it back to me for order to be processed and shipped.

I dont want the customer to send any credit card information.

How can i go about doing that?

I have managed to setup the purchase order option. But i dont want to setup any shipping and the backend does not allow me to add shipping manually. How can I go about doing that?

Also how can I add text on the check out page to explain to the customer that what they have placed is only a purchase order and that we will get in contact with them to finalise the order.

I'm having the same problem I think. I would like to manually enter/edit orders like I used to be able to in the old VM.
Hope someone has an answer!
