Kilograms instead of grams after upgrade to 2.010

Sorry about my English

I'm busy making a large shop with 180 categories and about 2000 articles which are not that heavy so I put them al in grams because of the prices of shipping.

After I upgrade my virtuemart to 2.010 all my product changes back to kilograms. So now a product of 650 grams weights 650 kilograms. The shipping is not possible now. Is there a solution for this because it's not funny to change everything by hand...

Greetings, this is my first post... so please be patient    as I seem to have a similar problem and would like to contribute.

I initially noticed a similar problem on my DEVELOPMENT website using Joomla 2.5.7, VM 2.0.10, PHP 5.3.13 using a Gavick Pro template.  I haven't upgraded my LIVE website (http://oriental.sandyscreations.net) which is currently on 2.0.8e until I can find a solution...

After performing the upgrade from 2.0.8e to 2.0.10, I noticed when selecting product details that the normal description items such as picture, manufacturer, description, price etc... are all illustrated correctly, however, the following product description ("Number items in packaging:") is not displayed correctly:

Number items in packaging: 9999
(Note the "9999")

However, if I select the same product item in my live website using 2.0.8e, details are displayed correctly eg. and including:
Number items in packaging: 1
Number items in box:48

Using my DEVELOPMENT website (clean upgrade; from 2.0.8e -> 2.0.10), and as a process of elimination to identify the problem, I then decided to amend the same product item using the administrator VM2 backend i.e. "Products" -> "Product Dimensions and Weight" -> "Product Packaging" to "1" from "9999.9999" and "Units in Box" to "48" (which was now blank - result of upgrade?).  Worth noting, the "Product Unit" had also defaulted to  KG when I did the upgrade (the same product item was "g" before upgrading, after upgrading, there was no option to select "g" in the version 2.0.10 drop down list).  After entering the product details again (which appear to have been wiped when upgrading), I saved and exited the VM2 backend.  I then visited the website and clicked on the same product item in the store frontend and of concern, the following was displayed:

Number KGs in packaging: 1

Worth noting that "Number Items in box:" does not show anymore in 2.0.10 and "Number items in packaging:" was replaced with "Number KGs in packaging:"? 

I trust the above helps with finding a solution.

On a final note, this forum is fantastic and invaluable.  I have found many solutions and answers by searching the forum.  VM2 is an excellent product and kudo's to the team - well done!  I for one will be donating to the VM2 project as a token of my appreciation.
