Additional Image Attributes - J2.5.3/VM2.0.6

We're putting together a clothing website and have a quick query about set up of the new VM.

Essentially, for each 'shirt' product, we need to show some cloth swatches as images and text . . . what is the easiest/best way to go about doing this? There will be no change in costs, just a way to show the image swatches and a way to choose one of them.

Any thoughts?
