Date picker in Chrome OSX

Date picker in Shopperfields in Chrome OSX doesn't work at all. If you click on "Never" the date doesn't get picked and if you click on the little triangle at the right side suddenly appears anothe calendar with anothe style and gets the date but it doesn't get recorded.

Safari OSX neither get picked.

Firefox... everything works perfectly.

Hello,
yes we saw that. It does not work withe Chrome neither on PC, or Mac.
But it works with Firefox (PC and Mac)
For me it works with Safari.
I am checking why.

But actually it is strange. The first year in the list should be 1912.
I am still searching for that Chrome bug... I have through post saying the JQuery. bind function is bugged in Chrome, but it was old posts.

I think I have a solution. At least it looks to be working for me.
locate the file under administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/config.php and change the line 1242 the
$display .= '<input id="'.$id.'_text" class="datepicker" type="date" value="'.$formatedDate.'" />';
change the type="date" to type="text".
It seems to work for me ...

Look like so, I have tested latest version of firefox, chrome and internet explorer 9,8,7 .
But i Have to mention that in internet explorer 7 the menu of the product (product information, product description,, product status .. etc) looks like its losing its alignment. Despite that fact the calendar works also in ie7
