Setting up downloads in vm2

I m setting up a webstore after previously using joomla 1.5 and vm1.x ad so i thought this would be a good time to upgrade to vm2. But in trying to set up downloadable items i dont see a way to get the items to be downloadble. Am i mising something or do i have to buy the virtual shipping module?

Please help!
