Hey,

Firstly, let me apologize if this has been solved somewhere else as I could only find an unanswered one which described my problem at http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=97887.msg322742#msg322742

Joomla: 2.5.6
VM: 2.0.8c
PHP: 5.3.14
Site: http://dev.mjranimations.com.au/esport

I have set this as a testing site, but the same issue resides on a client site.

Firstly, I had contacted the template provider at Gavick for help with this issue. They have advised that it is something to do with VM. The ask a question about this product opens with the popup but instead of the form I get the shop homepage. (screenshot provided).
Gavick ran tests and swapped the template over to default joomla template and the problem still exists (screenshot provided).

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Weird. . . your right. If I go to that same product in your screenshot. . .it works.
If I go to http://dev.mjranimations.com.au/esport/index.php/virtuemart/product-details it doesn't.

Looks like there's an issue with your routing. Like VM doesn't know which Category/Product you're viewing.

Ok... now you've lost me. Any advice on how to fix it?
