item shipped email sent to admin

Can I set the email to send only customer when I change order status from pending to shipped?  Our admin don't want this email.

Did you try to filter this kind of emails with the help of email rules?

Email filters can be set on the mailserver (if you manage the server) or locally in the email client program. eg in Thunderbird look in Tools/Message Filters.
