New user account creation problem (VM 2.0.6)

Again me ;-)

Now I have found a problem on VM 2.0.6 (with Joomla 2.5.4) when I complete all the fields to create a new account, I get the error message in attachment to this post.

Do you know what this happend?

I have solved the problem by activating Joomla User Registration, but now auto activation email does not work.
Email is correctly received, but when user clicks on the link nothing appears.

I'm using Chrome and SSL is not activated on a PC (laptop).

I have the same issue, I receive the email but nothing happens when I click on the activation. No error, no message.

I am not using SSL either.

Where is a error text file or something I can look at?

I managed to get mine working.

I enabled the module "User - Profile", seems that it is required.

You mean the PLUG-IN "user profile" and not the MODULE?
Because I can't find the module.

Even if I enable the PLUG-IN "user profile", problem still the same.

- a user create an account
- an email is sent to him
- activation kink does not work
- and after registration, user is logged into the website, even if the account has not been activated

Yeah sorry, meant the plug-in.

Also go into User Manager of your site, then click options. Make sure you have self register on there.
