Hello, in the e-commerce that I will make, I don't want show the price of the products. This because the price is subject to a lot of variables, so it is easier for me that:

1)   The costumer ask me the quotation for one or more products
2)   I calculate the price by myself and I write this price in a special page, visible only for this single user
3)   After, if he want, he will continue with the purchase; otherwise, he delete the product.

How could I do this?

thank you very much  :)  :)  :)

also you could just make the shop a catalogue and then get to write to you about the product -

Also it looks like you are telling us that you will constantly be on line as the cart would have to remain open until you sent them a price. Is that how you would do this?

You can set VM2 up as a quotation system so no prices are shown on the front end and the add to cart button is changes to add to order, or add to quote. All achieved using template & language override. One of my client's VM is was set to do this & he sent out a PayPal invoice to the customer for payment before shipping, but any other payment system could potentially be used. Unfortunately that site is no longer available as an example, as the owner has retired.

Hi, this is Deb from Polished Geek. As John suggested, you can definitely build complex pricing calculations using our extension, which allows you create a custom form and use it to control pricing and options in VM2.  If you have any questions for us, just post them here or send us a note at https://polishedgeek.com/clients/contact.php - thanks!
