Hi

I was just curious if anyone out there had actually managed to get the Custom Field stockable variant working in a GoDaddy environment.

I have been trying for several weeks now & no matter what I always end up with the error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in
/plugins/vmcustom/stockable/stockable.php on line 187

I`ve heard from several people in the forums who seem to be experiencing the same issues - they can run VM2 locally (on say ZEND) but when they try to run on their (usually shared) host the custom stockable varients plugin does not work.

If someone could please confirm that they have gotten this aspect of VM 2 working on a GoDaddy server I would really appreciate it, so that I could rule out the possibility that VM 2 just doesn `t work in this environment.

thank you

when I load the site locally the plugin works but I get weird anomalies like the price in the cart being different than the price on the product page (eg on the order page it is 48.00 + tax, in the cart it shows up as 59.00 + tax) etc.

no-one has been able to get this working on GoDaddy?

Godaddy? Anyone? I've followed the instructions so carefully and know that I've done them correctly. I wonder if this is a file access issue in godaddy?

Thanks for this - I now realise that I can't fix the problem myself - thought I had been doing something wrong. I get plugins/vmcustom/stockable/stockable.php on line 187 error no matter what I do - but it works on localhost.
Unfortunately we are on GoDaddy - not my choice, it is something I inherited. Supposed we will have to find a workaround - the ungraceful - please contact us for options will have to do.  :'(

it`s not just godaddy - I also have clients hosted on GreenkGeeks & they are experiencing similatr problem - it may be a shared hosting environment in general?
