Add Bank Transfer / EFT Payment Method

Hi
How do I add a bank transfer / eft payment method?  I've tried going to shop >> payment methods >> new but I get the following error:

vmError: TablePaymentmethods COM_VIRTUEMART_PAYMENT_JPLUGIN_ID in record is missing ! Can't save the record with no COM_VIRTUEMART_PAYMENT_JPLUGIN_ID.
