how to change price appearance in frontend for featured products?

I have searched everywhere, but cant find any answer. I hop you can help me.

We have some special products with discount. Now the only way i can show the discount is:
price
discount
final price

i am looking for:
base price
final price

how can i do that and/or where can i find a plugin for this?

i am using: j2.5.1 and VM 2.0.2
