Search by is not visible in the product browse page

Hi, I am new to VM.

In the shop front I cannot see the Search by. I expect it to be displayed next to Sort by. I can confirm that I have selected some search by fields in the VM configuration. Should I have to activate this some where else other than selecting the serach by fields in the configuration? Please help.

Also, kindly have a look at my config screenshot attached.

There is also something like  - "Manufacturer: Manufacturer" being displayed in the shop front. I have no idea how and why it is getting displayed there. Any hint to fix it?

I am using Joomla 2.5.1 and VM 2.0.2
