Two questions about "manufacturer configuration" in backend

Hi there,

I have two questions. First (pls see attachment), how to sort the manufacturers alphabetically? I will have MANY manufacturers, so this is need to be sorted!

And the second: I deleted some of my manufacturers but still listed in "Product Information". Is this a BUG?

Sorting this drop-down list by name doesn't work. It uses the virtuemart_manufacturer_id for sorting. But in order to find a manufacturer very quick, just type the first or two letters of the manufacturer's name into the selection field. Probably quicker than scrolling to the end of a long alphabetically ordered list.

Second question: I didn't test that yet myself. Maybe a manufacturer can't be deleted if you still have products assigned to this manufacturer...?

No. All deleted manufacturers are not in use. Also the Standard Manufacturer "Manufacturer" is deleted but listed.

Manufacturer Categorie have the same/similar problem...
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=99052.msg329013#msg329013 (image 6) if someone choose 1 manufacturer categorie, he/she cannot delete or remove that categorie.
Or in a better way: the user must add/remove Multi Categories by Manufacturer Brand Name .. it will be nice if we have that option in future!

1 more thing: the VM2 Manufacturer Module it's not working fine =/
