i have just changed to vm2 but cant find where to add my paypal details

any help

I'll assume you have correctly installed the components ( http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=96996.0 )

In VirtueMart backend open Shop / Payment methods.
Select New and enter a Name and Description for your payment method, and select Payment Method as Paypal. Save.
Now open the configuration tab to enter your details. Save and close.

so pay pal and shipping methods aren't already in there if you loaded api? you still have to manually set them up?
