Print Page - Show subcategories of a category

I have this sample category structure:
Hand Tools
Power Tools
|_ Outdoor Tools
|_ Indoor Tools
Garden Tools

I show them on the left side in the VM-Category modul. If i click on Power Tools it shows the products which belong to this category, but i want the two subcategories (Outdoor Tools,Indoor Tools) to be displayed.

Hi

I have the same issue, did you get to the bottom of it?

I want to show sub categories that have empty parent categories but the page is showing blank when you click on the parent category.

2.5.4 Joomla / 2.0.6 VM

Open/Edit your product -> Product Information -> Product Categories -> Select (add) more Categoty(s) to display your product

Thank you for the reply.

The problem was with my template. I reloaded it and all was fixed.

I thought it was a bit odd and assumed it was supposed to show.
