I have a customised product detail page and would like to add a link that would take the user back to the category page to browse more products. Is that a simple thing to add?

At around line 75 and after Product Navigation End in default.php for product details add
<A HREF="javascript:history.go(-1)"><img src="images/stories/goback.gif" width="75" height="28" border="0"></A>

obviously you'll need a graphic as a back arrow.

This only takes you back one step but I find people go into a product and want to go back the the category they came from
