Title: Shipping cost
Post by: groentjie on February 28, 2012, 12:05:38 PM
On http://www.plafonddirect.nl (http://www.plafonddirect.nl) I had 2 shipping costs setup (disabled one for now)
80% of the time if I have filled in my details the cost based on the weight is not selected. sometimes it selects the shipping cost. what can be wrong? SEF is enabled

Just wondering,

when I fill in my country ?

I cannot choose my state and therefore the software cannot pick a shipping option??

maybe ??

i did not setup the states, only the country. if you select Netherlands than it should be enough.

Hi, can you give us a screen shot of the shipment configuration. Sometimes it is because it is not well configurated.

Hi,

It looks like you don't have zip condition or weigth conditions, then you should leave those parameters blank.
Try to remove them.

Vm2 is lazy! Do not set things like 99999 kg. When there is no entry, it counts for all. This is a general rule.

Is that the solution? so I just have to set it to 90kg for example?

Hi,

Could it be a dutch problem? I have the same problem i think..... I have running joomla 2.5 with vm 2.02 and everything in Dutch

Shipment to different countries works, but only the selection of the correct weight doesn't work. It let me see all the shipping weight opties for that shipping zone (see attment)

And i used fixed Kg,  (example: from 0 to 10kg)

I just download version VM 2.0.3 and try it right away. But it still doesn't work with the weight volumes.
All the setting I used are very basic I think......
No customers groups set, only countries, weight from/to and price are set.

Hi,
I discover something, if i uninstall the shipping plug-in and install the old "vm 2.0.0 AIO" version again. Shipping selection works fine for me, is it possible to only install the old shipping plug-in and upgrade the other plug-in's to the last version?

Hi,

The problem is not the plugin, it works fine......

I use CSVi to bulk import the products in to VM2. If i open a product in the backend, its looks ok. But it doesn't work with the shipping plugin, i must first open the product and save it manualy, then it works fine! I suspect that som fields are not populated with the upload, that are needed and after saving it manualy. They will be filled with a default No. or setting....

Is there a list for required fields that must be populated?

I have the same problem. With the new 2.0.1 plug in automatic shipment doesn't work. It worked fine with the 2.0.0RC3 plug in.

Problem is that in the 2.0.2 version of VM there was a bug with the orders in the backend where it didn't show 2 sizes of the same product being ordered, but the price was calculated for the two. This problen however is solved in 2.0.3I.

Now we need to get those 2 together ;-)
