Title: Limit products to show on category page

How do I limit products to show on category page.
Want to show 4 rows by 3 products.
Managed to set 3 products in a row.
but how do I limit 9 items to show without echo $this->vmPagination->getLimitBox(); and making selection.

Max products per view in frontend

and

Set the pagination sequence for the List Box

i've changed the language to pt and i dont remember that .. wtf..  I almost went crazy for looking a solution for the problem
