I have create a lot of custom fields in one group. When i now resort the fields and then the group add to a product, they aren't sorted. They added in the way i created them.
It's that a bug or is that the working way of vm.
(VM 2.0.1 F + JOS1.7)

I'd like to bring this up again. Cannot sort my customfileds in the backend. Joomla 254/VM 206. Is this a bug still? What to do?
Same thing here with version 2.0.10
What exactly is happening when you try to rearrange the order? Does the drag and drop not work or is it just not getting saved when you click on Save?

Im abble to sort custom field in the product itself but not in the custom fields admin backend ... I have to sort in each produc manually by click and drag ... instead of going with the automatic sorting option in the custom fields backend...

I think that is working as designed. The ordering in the customs table isn't used AFAIK.

sounds first like an idea encreplus, but at the end it is just the order how you add it. Hmm I htink the order was meant for customfield families.
