I've replied to a similar post requesting this help, but I haven't heard anything there.
If ANYone has suggestions about this problem I would greatly appreciate it.
Basically, on checkout, when registering billing and shipping information, the 'States' drop-down, when selecting US displays nothing.
Therefore, the checkout process is incomplete.
Please offer any suggestions, thanks in advance!

I recall reading something about this. What happens if you go back to country and choose United States again? Do the states show then? That is my solution (not really a solution). I heard it was a confirmed bug. I found this link but it was for an older version http://dev.virtuemart.net/issues/59

Very helpful, thanks! Are you having problems with this issue? I might try and remove the States drop down and relabel City as 'City/State'. don't know what else.

Yes, I am as well. Apparently it may be fixed in the newer versions but I'm not risking an upgrade until it's officially released.
