Title: validation on "Ask a question..." not validating "xxx@.com.xx" emails

I cant' believe this is this way, but I can't send the form "Ask a question about this product" because it doesn't validate my email, that has .ar after .com. For example: "me@yahoo.com.ar" is not validated, whereas "me@yahoo.com" is. I played with the validation.js file with no success. Is there a way to fix it or if not, how can I make the e-mail validation not required??? thanks!
